Tealady preserves and pickles are handmade in Norfolk, where  sweeping fields, unspoilt beaches and dramatic sunsets in huge open skies are the norm. And it is the natural rhythms of this glorious setting that inspire the ethos of TheTealady – buying and gathering fruit and vegetables in season to make simple, tasty products that are full of robust countryside flavours. Using traditional methods, we hand-cut and hand-stir every batch to reflect a truly homemade product for you to enjoy.

Our delicious handmade chutney and award-winning jam and marmalade are, primarily made from locally sourced ingredients, in small batches in the heart of Breckland, creating a unique range of products which we’re sure you’ll enjoy. Of course, we sometimes need ingredients from further afield e.g. Seville Oranges we always buy from trusted local businesses so we are able to ensure we’re using the freshest quality ingredients. If you’re looking for something different, or you’ve bought from us before and you’d like something not displayed in our online shop please do contact us

So where to start? It’s #greattasteawards2020 results day and Connie’s kitchen is in a state of excited uproar this afternoon 😂 Not one, not two, not even three, but it’s four awards for our fabulous makes this year! To say we’re happy is a just a bit of an understatement.

We’re delighted that our kitchen skill and attention to detail has been recognised again. Although, we have to also say, terrific taste can only be achieved with top notch ingredients which are prepared by the most amazing #chopper (Elaine Evans ) a kitchen can have! Right now we’re happily taking it for the whole team in our supply and making chain.

How fitting that it’s Love British Food #foodfortnight2020 as three of our awards are for products using top rate @proudlynorfolk fruit and vegetables...onions and rhubarb from Abreys and tomatoes grown by Daniel at Anema’s in Dereham (he doesn’t do social media, can someone tell him)🤪 the final award was for another of our stunning marmalades using the wonderful Sevilles grown by Amadora #avemariafarm

What an excellent day!
