Tealady preserves and pickles are handmade in Norfolk, where  sweeping fields, unspoilt beaches and dramatic sunsets in huge open skies are the norm. And it is the natural rhythms of this glorious setting that inspire the ethos of TheTealady – buying and gathering fruit and vegetables in season to make simple, tasty products that are full of robust countryside flavours. Using traditional methods, we hand-cut and hand-stir every batch to reflect a truly homemade product for you to enjoy.

Of course, we sometimes need ingredients from further afield e.g. Seville Oranges we always buy from trusted local businesses so we are able to ensure we’re using the freshest quality ingredients. If you’re looking for something different, or you’ve bought from us before and you’d like something not displayed in our online shop please do contact us

There’s a warm vibe in the kitchen this week, and cooking is about the rich dark winter flavours of Plums and Damsons. Although, today sees a slight change, which definitely brings a whiff of Christmas to the kitchen as we prepare and cook Christmas Marmalade. This scrumptious recipe was awarded two ⭐️⭐️ in the 2021 Great Taste AwardsHere’s a taste of the judges’ feedback……a rich amber colour…The flavour…lingers on the palate, taking the taste buds on a real journey.…well balanced with the bitterness of the peel. One judge who does not normally eat marmalade was won over by the product which is testament to its great taste.A shining example of marmalade with generous pieces of peel. Good colour and the jelly had a great set but remained soft and moreish. The hit of the PX gave a real warmth…Glossy marmalade with attractive pieces of peel running throughout. The aroma is redolent of sunshine. There is a good balance of bitterness and sweetness with a lasting and pleasing bitter aftertaste. Well balanced. On Saturday you’ll find us, and this delicious marmalade Wyken Vineyards Farmers' Market look forward to serving you! ... See MoreSee Less
