Tealady preserves and pickles are handmade in Norfolk, where  sweeping fields, unspoilt beaches and dramatic sunsets in huge open skies are the norm. And it is the natural rhythms of this glorious setting that inspire the ethos of TheTealady – buying and gathering fruit and vegetables in season to make simple, tasty products that are full of robust countryside flavours. Using traditional methods, we hand-cut and hand-stir every batch to reflect a truly homemade product for you to enjoy.

It’s a restock for The Courtyard Coffee Shop so there’s plenty of delicious jars to choose from when you call in for your coffee! Yum! 😍We have been so busy the last few weeks that our social media has been neglected a bit so I thought I'd put a quick update on.We have a new face in the coffee shop, you may have met him by now, Kian, he's my eldest son and he's learning the ropes and doing very well.As our wine bar isn't open yet, we have been serving our platters during the day so if you want one please ask a member of staff and we will do our best to make it happen. You can always pre book these if you want to avoid disappointment. The retail stock is flying off the shelves at the moment, we have loads of new local products being delivered throughout this week so keep an eye out for those. Also new Norfolk cheeses are delivered every Thursday.Tomorrow we will be getting a delivery of jams and marmalades from The Tealady. ... See MoreSee Less

It’s a grubby Tuesday morning but lovely reader I’m reflecting on yesterday’s events...For several years Monday morning was an early alarm ⏰ call to secure a seat 💺 on the train 🚆 and importantly to beat the city rush hour! Next month sees the start of the fifth year of not doing the marathon journey. I’m definitely the mistress of my own diary 📔 and Mondays have an all together different vibe now! So to yesterday...personal diary 📔management delivers much opportunity😃 and Monday morning there’s a Reflect Health & Wellbeing10am online Yoga 🧘‍♀️ class... I returned to the kitchen after the class and saw that two pallets of jars recently ordered had arrived and #thetealad who is still #WFH 👨‍💻 had neatly stacked the 40 boxes in the store, absolute bonus! #teamworkMy job now is to fill these with absolute deliciousness. This week is a bit stinky with jars of award-winning Caramelised Red Onion 🧅 Chutney and Tomato 🍅 Chilli 🌶 Jam but then there’ll be strawberries 🍓 you can find these and lots more yummy jars at www.thetealadyuk.com look forward to serving you soon! Happy Tuesday, keep warm 🥶 and dry ☔️ lovely peeps. Sunshine ☀️ is on the way! ... See MoreSee Less
